The Rolling Stones

The Rolling Stones (at different points in time) included Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Brain Jones, Mick Taylor, Ronnie Wood, Ian Stewart, Dick Taylor, Bill Wyman, Tony Chapman, and Charlie Watts. It was formed in 1962 and is still together in the present day. They live in London but tour around the world. Their instruments include vocals, guitar, bass, drums, and keyboard. Besides being prolific composers, they became iconic rebel figures in the genre of rock. Their image was a good counter point to “The Beatles”. They hardened the sound of rock for following bands, such as “The Animals”, or “The Who”. They were strongly influenced by blues and jazz.
